About Us:
Welcome to The Spoiler Warning, a film enthusiast podcast. In each episode, Christopher Schnese and Stephen David Miller dive in, debate, and argue over the latest film releases coming to a theater near you.
With over a decade and a half of podcasting under our belts, The Spoiler Warning is not just a show—it's a labor of love. We are dedicated film enthusiasts who have combined our shared love for storytelling and the magic of film to bring you insightful, engaging, and entertaining discussions about the movies that move us.
Why do we do what we do? Simply put, it's our shared passion for film and our desire to share that passion with anyone who will listen. Without the podcast, you'd still find us in a theater every weekend checking out the latest release, taking in whatever is programmed at the local indie theater, or making our way off to whatever festival we can snag tickets for. With the podcast, we have an outlet to channel our thoughts and feelings about what we watch. Whether it's analyzing the intricate details of storytelling, dissecting the powerful performances that move us, or discussing the visual imagery the remain burned in our memories long after the credits roll, we love talking about film.
One thing we'd like to make clear is that The Spoiler Warning is a labor of love. It's a hobby born from our genuine fascination with film. We're not trained in traditional criticism and we don't work in the industry. We do, however, love talking about film and we've spent a lot of time learning how to articulate how it makes us feel.
Whether you're a cinephile or a casual moviegoer, we invite you to join us on our cinematic adventures. And don't let the name fool you, we always save spoilers for a section at the end of the episode.
The podcast is produced out of beautiful San Francisco, CA where we live and work.
